I was tagged in a fun blog game by Kimberly over at All Work and No Play Makes Mommy Go Something Something. I love her as much as anyone can love another blogger they’ve never met irl.  For reals!  Not only is she my Canadian twin sister, she is soooo stinkin’ funny a lot of the time and she breaks it down like it is when it’s called for.  Especially when it comes to the rollercoaster of PPD, which I suffered/suffer as well.  If the world had more warrior mamas like her, we’d be set!

Here are the questions Kimberly chose for me to answer:

1. What is something you want to do before you die?

Finish my nursing degree!  I have been working toward it for sooo long, and something keeps coming up without fail to put it on hold.  I would love to have that accomplishment.

2. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Ooooh…the BIGges?!  That’s hard to pick.  (Is that a bad sign?)  Um, if I have to pick one, I’ll go with self-absorbed people.  When a person is self-absorbed.  You can totally tell because they live their life without regard to anyone else on the planet.  Ever.  Whether they’re driving down the road, and they act a certain way, or if they are on the same grocery store aisle; they’re easy to spot and can ruin a day for someone else.  Not cool.

3. How did you come up with the name for your blog?

I was diagnosed with PPD and PPA after delivering my first child in 2003.  Because of my experience, I wanted to share with the world that PPD is real and isn’t a choice.  It doesn’t mean life ends or a mother fails.  It is a hurdle.  Plain and simple, depression sucks!  And I know that first hand.

4. Do you like Cheese Whiz?

Now and then I like it, but only the original.  Isn’t there a spicy version?  And maybe another weird version?  LOL  I like the original, and only sometimes.

Thanks, Kimberly for tagging me!  You are the BESTEST!
